TelExpress Asset Recovery Program
TelExpress currently has many successful consignment programs in place. Our customers
are able to effortlessly turn their asset recovery over to us as we handle all logistics including
storage, marketing, shipping, invoicing and collections while they can sit back,
relax and look forward to extra income coming in from their surplus telecom equipment, no
longer needed equipment that may have otherwise been thrown to the corner and forgotten.
Let TelExpress help you with your asset management. As competition increases and
customer expectations grow, Carriers need to continually expand and upgrade their
network systems by investing in new equipment and / or aquiring other companies.
As you try to manage your operations effectively, one challenge often faced is the
management of your equipment assets and the disposal of those same assets when they
are decommissioned or you have too much excess. TelExpress can help you turn your
idle assets into cash. We have been effectively buying surplus telecom equipment from customers
like you since 1992. We can help you get the most money for your assets whether
it be a quick buyout or thru a consignment program. We look at each asset recovery
situation closely and will help you decide what will work best for you.

Consignment Redistribution for Profit |
TelExpress helps our clients make the most of past investments. By our customers
turning over the responsibility for the disposition of their excess equipment to
TelExpress, we have helped our customers recover millions of dollars from valuable
assets. We are experienced at handling and selling everything from circuit packs
to complete switch sites. Utilize our facilities, professional staff, expertise
and effective marketing network. Minimize your management time and maximize the
return on your investment. Here’s how the program works:
De-Installation:
Our production team handles all de-installation and packing of the designated equipment.
You are responsible for decommissioning the equipment (traffic removed, power down),
we handle the rest.
Shipment: |
We arrange for shipment to our warehouses. Equipment can be consolidated at your
warehouse or shipped directly to us from your sites.
Ownership:
You consign your equipment to us, retaining full ownership rights Until we locate
a buyer and complete a sale. You may request the return of any equipment as needed
prior to a processed sale.
Freight:
Freight costs for transporting equipment from your site to our TelExpress warehouses
are deducted from the initial sales proceeds. Freight costs associated with shipping
the equipment from our warehouse to the buyer’s location are covered by TelExpress.
Handling: |
We provide you with a complete inventory within 10-20 business days of arrival at
our warehouse. All equipment is entered into our database inventory system by your
company name, manufacturer part number, HECI code and arrival date. Reports of sales
transactions or current consignment inventory can be given at a moment’s notice,
upon request.
Sales Proceeds: |
When equipment is sold the proceeds are shared proportionately. As our Asset
Recovery partner, you are guaranteed payment once the equipment has been sold since
TelExpress assumes all risk relative to any collection issues that may arise.
Inventory Aging and Scrapping: |
If an item cannot be sold due to market conditions or the original condition of
the equipment, we will recommend scrapping and proceed only with your written approval.

Letting the TelExpress Sales Team Work for You |
TelExpress has an established huge and growing network of customers for your excess
equipment throughout North America as well as internationally. Our customers span
the industry segments of ILEC’s, CLEC’s, ISP’s, long distance
carriers, and utilities. Most of our sales are to end users rather than vendors
which maximizes the return on your original investment. In addition, we promote
sales to start-ups as well as the largest carriers to ensure that older systems
as well as the newest equipment can be placed with the right customer networks.
Our customer base is one of the telecom industry’s largest and most diverse.
Maintaining and building a loyal customer base requires an effective, dedicated
sales team. Our Sales Reps are very product and OEM knowledgeble in both transmission
and switching for central office systems. We are extremly capable of appraising
and selling everything from circuit packs to complete switch sites at current market
value.
